Ding ding, we have a winner! Simple, inexpensive bell, with a decent sound. I wish it was ambidextrous, but it really can only be mounted by the left hand (hence only 4 out of 5 stars).Contrary to some complaints from other people, I did not find this difficult to install on a normal handlebar. Clear bell tone, but needs a larger diameter mounting ring for us with grownup bikes When riding down the sidewalk or street on my bike, I thought a bell would be nicer than me yelling, Hey you, get out of my way!! So I got this one- classic brass- I’m not a kid, so didn’t want a Hello Kitty or Ninja Turtle bell.
