Does the job, but doesn’t seem secure enough. Same issues. Hard to complain, as it is a very cheap and effective trailer hitch bike rack for under 100 bucks. I think the weak spot seems to be the “filler plates”. Overall a good value, a few flaws. Some pros and some cons, but overall, a very good value.When I hooked this up for the first time, I noticed how bouncy it was with three bikes on. I took them off to verify I wasn’t exceeding the weight limit, and I wasn’t. It flexes a lot at the bend near the hitch (where the bar is welded at a 45 degree angle).
