Not for heavy bikes I got this stand yesterday and found out the hard way it is not made for a heavier bike. I have a e-bike and the bike fell off 3 times before I got the drill and tools out. The head that holds the bike is plastic and keep coming off with the weight. I drilled a hole straight through it and put a bolt and nut on it. Really good, budget product. The stand is fairly well designed especially for the price point. Much less costly than park tool or other comparable stands.I have used it for repairing multiple mountain bikes including a downhill bike that weighs over 30 lbs. and its held up well.The stand is adjustable to most any possition and the clamp height is able to reach about 5’8 if the tripod height setting is not fully spread. Great stand at a low price I’m a big fan of Park Tools, so I looked at the Park Tool stands and almost bought one, but they were just so much more costly, I couldn’t stomach the price. I tried this one, and I’m glad I did. It holds my fairly heavy bikes securely.
